The MEZUS 520 employs a rigorous multi-stage purification process to transform ambient air into zero-grade analytical air. Initially, the system compresses and cools the air, passing it through a high-efficiency regenerative dryer that removes moisture until an ultra-low dew point is reached. Subsequently, the flow passes through beds of selective chemical media (scrubbers) and a heated catalytic reactor, which actively oxidize and remove contaminants such as CO, hydrocarbons, SO₂, NOx, and O₃ to imperceptible trace levels, ensuring consistent purity.

Does this equipment remove Carbon Monoxide (CO)? 

Yes, the MEZUS 520 reduces CO to levels below 0.05 ppm. If your application requires deeper removal of Hydrocarbons or CO for ultra-trace levels, the equipment can optionally be configured with a high-temperature catalytic converter (HC Scrubber).

What maintenance does the zero air generator require? 

The maintenance is preventive and simple. It is recommended to replace the scrubber cartridges and the compressor intake filter annually to ensure air purity. The water drainage system is automatic, so it does not require constant manual emptying.

Is it sufficient to supply an entire monitoring station? 

Absolutely. With a capacity of20 SLPM, the MEZUS 520 can supply purge air and dilution air for a complete rack of analyzers (SO₂, NOx, CO, O₃) simultaneously, as the typical consumption of these devices is around 0.6 to 1 LPM each.

Do I need an external compressed air line? 

No. The MEZUS 520 is fully autonomous thanks to its oil-free internal compressor. You just need to plug it into the power supply to start generating pure air.
