TheMEZUS 210is a reference gas analyzer designed for the continuous and simultaneous measurement of NO, NO₂, and NOx in ambient air. Using the standard method ofChemiluminescence (CLD), this equipment incorporates a high-efficiency converter and a long-lasting ozone generator. Its advanced architecture with a 32-bit processor ensures stable multitasking operation, making it an indispensable tool for environmental monitoring networks and control of vehicular or industrial emissions.

Does the equipment measure NO and NO₂ simultaneously? 

Yes, the MEZUS 210 provides independent readings for NO, NO₂, and total NOx. The system performs a fast switching cycle using a solenoid valve to pass the sample through the converter (for NOx) or directly to the reaction chamber (for NO), calculating NO₂ by difference in real time.

What type of maintenance does the NOx converter require? 

The equipment uses a high-efficiency thermal converter. It is recommended to check the efficiency of the converter annually through gas phase titration (GPT). Depending on the configuration (Molybdenum or Stainless Steel), the cartridge's lifespan can be extended for several years before requiring replacement.

How are interferences from other gases handled? 

Chemiluminescence technology is highly selective. Additionally, the pneumatic design includes a pre-reactor to determine the "dynamic zero" and eliminate potential background interferences, ensuring that the reading corresponds exclusively to nitrogen oxides.
